Here I am show casing hand made paper weights and my personal card holder ..it's not available yur sale. All made out of our concrete craft bases.

So it's a way off... But here is the idea. I have decided to upcycle a hat for the inner casing of the purse.

So I am off to a luncheon and I hope to wear the case /purse and I am making this button to match. It will hold a scarf I have kitted on my 2 m loom over my arms. All in all to this point I have used 5 in the puree case and 3 in the button.1.3m lengths of copper.. it might be 1.2 mil gage... I got is from the electrical shop and stripped it.

Alot of the projects you see here, don't just happen they take time. And some times they are not the priority, but I can promise they get done in time. Ultimately I'm a big one for doing what needs to be done... Not doing for fun. (There is a mindset of use and waste or non- waste in the reasoning for that. That comes out of knowing my own habits of buying and not using, things like material, or worse using a resource poorly for the sake of not wasting it). But I digress ..

Yes sometimes we have a long plan .. sometimes it's this moment that matters. In time I hope to review products, tools and process here. Here is the next step... Wound with the copper I have added the first cost of seer...this time round it is just plain watered down wood glue... The next will be laquer for a few coats...then we'll see what we do next.

So I found this perfect stick. It is perfect for a walking stick! ( For those who do not know there are days I fi d quite hard due to lingering autoimmune issues... And that is a whole series for another day called living with me... ) But here and now I have picture the stick... So 4 coats of laquer and counting. Look at the shine... In a week as the laquer cures it will become harder - the ultimate outcome is a case that resembles board.

So it is finished this is the out side... What might not be obvious is I have painted over it with glue water. This will provide the first sealing laquer. There are many layers of lacquer to go yet!

It is getting done. I have had this project on the board for a few months now ( maybe a month and a half!) and it seemed to day it might be the job that fitted... After a morning of garden maintenance. Though it doesn't get any easier when someone fills it is just the right spot yo sun her self 🤫

So below is a look at the full template of the case being made. You can see unfolded it is around 1.2 m long and 65 cm wide. I have stated to colour it, using g oil Crayons. It will be a highly pattern design piece. I will bring going with the flow... As much as I have a style in mind! I don't have a plan. Thus method in art is called organic design.
